Over the weekend i was wondering, "what the heck am i going to make for thanksgiving?". so while reading a magazine called "ALLYOU" i came across this recipe and i decided to try it out and if it was any good i would share it on the blog. we loved it so......
PREP:15MIN
BAKE :1 HR
YIELD:9 SQUARES (i didn't cut mine in squares)
8 tbsp. (1 stick)unsalted butter,melted and cooled
1 1/4 cups sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. pumpkin spice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup milk
1 cup miniature chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
1) preheat oven to 350f mist an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spary;line with parchment. 2)whisk together butter, eggs, pumpkin puree and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. stir in the baking soda, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice and salt. stir in 1/2 of the flour, then milk,the remaining flour, stirring until combined (do not over mix). fold in chocolate chips and nuts. 3) bake until firm to touch. let cool for 5 min. cut and serve with whip cream on top.
